CHRC announces more funds for the Student Work Placement internship subsidies for the Cultural sector
Employers are encouraged to apply now for wage subsidies to hire post-secondary students. Wage subsidies of 50% to a maximum of $5,000 are available immediately for placements between April 1, 2023 and March 31, 2024. Subsidies may be increased to 70%, with a maximum of $7,000 for students confirmed to be part of a priority group. Funds may be used to employ students from all academic fields to gain work experience. To apply, visit their website.
