Family & Young Audience Focus at Pacific Contact 2024

Pacific Contact is the BC Touring Council’s annual showcase festival and conference for the performing arts. This 4-day conference attracts hundreds of performing arts professionals who gather to plan performances, network, and learn. Pacific Contact features juried showcase performances by approximately 42 different artist groups, a trade-show style exhibit hall (Contact Room), networking events, panels, meetings and workshops.   • 24 main stage showcases, 15 of which are appropriate for schools/young/family audiences
  • 6 family/young audiences performances
  • 18 Short 5’s, 13 of which are appropriate for schools/young/family audiences

  2. You can then register as a *Presenter for the whole 4 day conference, or pick single day registration if you just want to attend on Friday, April 12. 
  3. You can purchase meals when registering. 
  4. Register before March 23 to save! Registration closes on April 2, 2024.

*What is a Presenter?

Presenters essentially book shows to perform in schools, venues or festivals.They may work within non-profit organizations, municipalities, universities, schools or festivals, but they all share a common passion: supporting artists, developing audiences and building community.
