The Nelson and District Arts Council (NDAC), in collaboration with the Civic Theatre will host the Rural Artist Weekend providing local artists with a free virtual symposium featuring presentations on career development, grant writing, marketing, and the rural arts scene. The pandemic has taken a huge toll on artists of all disciplines; through this event, the NDAC hopes to provide artists with professional resources that will help them manage and grow the business aspect of their craft.
