The conversation will focus on how artists and presenters have adjusted or cancelled plans, and what touring and presenting might look like over the coming year and beyond. Module 2: The Art of Marketing

 
11:15 AM to 12:00 PM Image is Everything: First impressions count as your image may the first thing a presenter, fan or customer sees. Today more than ever, the way you present yourself visually is important. 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM Essential Elements: The Artist Promo Package: Not having the right resources and materials to promote your show could make the difference in terms of whether you get booked or not. Materials including EPKs with images/video, bios, quotes/reviews, social media and websites are essential for touring and can make life on the road so much easier to manage. If you are getting booked how can you help presenters sell your show, so you are invited back another time? 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Live Performance Videos Lab: Live performance videos are often requested by presenters/promoters looking to book or to help market your shows. They are also used to apply to showcase at conferences/industry events, as well as in funding applications. Similar to live streaming, backgrounds, audio, lighting and equipment are important to creating professional-looking videos. Effective editing and hosting on the right platforms are equally important.
