All Ages – Originally built in the 1860’s, The Occidental is a pub, live music venue and restaurant in Quesnel, in the North Cariboo in BC. The Occidental is the hottest ticket in town when it comes to indie bands and energizing music, featuring live bands from all over Canada.
Owners Louise and Barry McKillican are familiar with the music and entertainment industry through their small production company, which produced eight music festivals, and made the McKillican’s want to bring the festival experience to a permanent venue. They book bands from all over Canada to play. Bringing in high-quality musicians is important to them, as is showcasing Canadian talent.
This multi-purpose venue has a capacity of 200 seats.
