The Next Ten Legacy Fund

Pacific Contact 2017 Youth Advisors

In 2015, BCTC launched the Aspiring and Emerging Artists Touring & Training Initiative (AEA). The AEA program develops and enhances skills for aspiring and emerging artists, while offering an opportunity to work alongside creative professionals. As part of the AEA program, BCTC engaged youth from around the province. These young people are co-creators and influencers in helping shape our programs, and they provide valuable input for future initiatives. next_ten_simple
2016 marked BCTC’s 40th Anniversary.  It seemed fitting to launch a Youth Legacy fund during this commemorative milestone year. Over the next ten years,  BCTC is committed to nurture and support more young people in touring and presenting of performing arts in BC.  To that end BCTC will match funds raised through the Next Ten Legacy Fund to offer scholarships and subsidies to attend Pacific Contact, to create opportunities for specialized training, mentorship and leadership.
