2012 BC Touring Council Annual Awards

The BC Touring Council is proud to announce the following who have been nominated by their peers for 2012 BC Touring Council Annual Awards.  The Awards will be given out at the Pacific Contact Annual Awards Dinner on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the Hilton Vancouver, Metrotown.

An Award is also presented for distinguished service:

Touring Award of Excellence - The award recipient in this category is chosen by a selection committee with input from the BCTC board of directors and is not automatically awarded each year. This award recognizes an outstanding body of work, long-standing service and contribution and exemplifies excellence in the performing arts touring sector.  The 2012 recepient for this award is Margo Kane

The Raising Curtains Award recognizes those who work behind the scenes. This year the award will be given to the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown.

A press release announcing recipients of the Artist/Company, Presenter and Agent/Manager categories will follow the Awards Ceremony in early April. BCTC AGM -  On Sunday, April 1, 2012 the British Columbia Touring Council will hold their Annual General Meeting (AGM) for it’s members.
